Job summary

KLN Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Logistics Support Specialist to assist in customer service, shipment coordination, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (fresh graduates welcome).
• Basic understanding of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and provide updates on shipment status.
• Assist in handling customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in monitoring vessel schedules, cargo arrivals and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers and other relevant parties.
• Assist in preparing and checking import/export documents, such as bills of lading, invoices and packing lists.
• Ensure documents are accurate and properly maintained.
• Assist in following up on shipment delays, damages or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues and minimise delays.
• Work closely with warehouse, customs, finance and other internal teams to support smooth shipment and delivery operations.
• Support the Sales/Account Management team with customer and shipment updates.
