Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a diligent Leasing Manager to oversee end-to-end leasing activities for its retail projects in Malaysia. You will source, negotiate, and close tenant deals aligned with the project’s mix and target demographic.

You will handle offer letters, tenancy agreements, deposits, and renewals, coordinating with Operations, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to ensure smooth execution and strong landlord-tenant relations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in business administration, communication, or real estate.
• Minimum 2–3 years of leasing experience.
• Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end leasing: sourcing, negotiating, and closing deals with tenants that fit the project's mix and target demographic.
• Follow through on Letter of Offer and Tenancy Agreement execution and deposit collection.
• Handle lease renewals, including negotiation and tenant performance review.
• Coordinate with Operations on fit-out, renovation monitoring, and pre-opening inspections.
• Ensure tenant compliance with lease terms and maintain strong landlord-tenant relationships.
• Liaise with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to support smooth lease execution.
• Conduct market research on retail trends, tenant mix, and rental benchmarks.
• Prepare leasing reports and support budget/revenue tracking.
• Drive occupancy and handle walk-in prospective tenants.
