Job summary

Pamir Development Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a Leasing Executive to develop and execute leasing strategies, attract tenants, and manage the full leasing process from viewings to tenancy agreements.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business or Real Estate and has 1–2 years’ leasing experience, fluent English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, plus solid knowledge of lease terms and digital marketing. You will monitor market conditions and support marketing campaigns to drive occupancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business / Marketing / Property / Real Estate Management or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of working experience in leasing or similar roles.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute leasing strategies to attract tenants and optimize occupancy.
• Initiate discussions with potential tenants, negotiate leases, and facilitate tenancy agreements.
• Manage tenant relationships and ensure compliance with lease terms.
• Address tenant enquiries and identify prospects for new retail concepts.
• Recommend suitable tenants for vacancies and replacements.
• Prepare, monitor, and maintain tenancy documents and reports on time.
• Assist marketing campaigns, launches, events, roadshows, and promotions.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities.

Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and rental targets, including sourcing and securing tenants through direct engagement, walk-ins, and agency networks. Manage the full leasing process, including property viewings, presentations, enquiries, negotiations, Letters of Offer, Tenancy Agreements, deposits, and lease execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing leasing strategies to attract suitable tenants and optimize the tenant mix.
• Initiate discussion with potential tenants, negotiate the lease and facilitate tenancy agreementss
• Manage tenant relationships and ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions
• Resolve tenant enquiries and concerns, and identify prospecting to introduce new and relevant retail concepts
• Recommend suitable tenants for vacant units and tenant replacements
• Prepare, monitor, and maintain tenancy documents and reports, accurately and on time
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, launches, events, roadshows, and promotional activities
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions to identify business opportunities
• Manage the company's digital presence across website and social media platforms

About you

• Degree in Business / Marketing / Property / Real Estate Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1- 2 years of working experience in leasing or similar work experiences
• Good communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and tenancy policies.
• Knowledgeable about current market conditions, and market studies.
• Possesses mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
