Job summary

Ogx Networks Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Pre‑Sales Engineering leader in Malaysia to drive high‑quality technical proposals and customer engagements. You will mentor a team, review multi‑vendor designs, and coordinate PoC activities to support sales cycles.

You will engage with customers to understand business challenges, provide strategic guidance, and ensure solutions are technically sound and cost‑effective. Strong English and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Professional Network certifications (Enterprise, Security, or Data Center) will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in networking presales and solution architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Pre‑Sales Engineering team to maintain high technical and presentation standards.
• Assign workloads, review solution proposals, and ensure timely delivery of all Pre‑Sales outputs.
• Engage with customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and technology partners to support sales cycles.
• Ensure all proposed solutions are technically sound, cost‑effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Provide strategic guidance on complex proposals, multi‑vendor designs, and scalability considerations.
• Deliver high‑quality technical presentations, demos, workshops, and solution walkthroughs; oversee PoC activities.
• Work with Sales to support tender bidding, solution pitching, and customer meetings; coordinate with Implementation Engineers.
• Oversee preparation of solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, diagrams, technical write‑ups, and BOM documentation.
• Keep up‑to‑date with technology trends, competitor offerings, and market direction in networking & security; suggest improvements.
