Job summary

Ogx Networks Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Pre‑Sales Engineering Lead in Malaysia to guide a team, design technically sound solutions, and drive complex proposals. You will engage with customers to capture business challenges and technical requirements, deliver high‑quality presentations, demos, and PoCs, and coordinate with Sales and Implementation teams to ensure successful project handovers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Pre‑Sales Engineering team to maintain high technical and presentation standards.
• Assign workloads, review solution proposals, and ensure timely delivery of all Pre‑Sales outputs.
• Engage with customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and technology partners to support sales cycles.
• Ensure all proposed solutions are technically sound, cost‑effective, aligned with best practices.
• Provide strategic guidance on complex proposals, multi-vendor designs, and scalability.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, workshops, and solution walkthroughs; oversee PoC activities.
• Work with Sales to support tender bidding, solution pitching, and customer meetings.
• Coordinate with Implementation Engineers for feasibility and handover.
• Oversee preparation of solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, diagrams, technical write‑ups, BOM docs.
• Keep up-to-date with tech trends, competitor offerings, and market direction in networking & security solutions.
• Recommend new technologies, tools, or solution enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Professional Network certifications (Enterprise, Security, or Data Center) will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in networking presales and solution architecture.

• Candidate with project track record will be an advantage.
• Experience designing enterprise‑grade network infrastructure solutions.
