PROTON is seeking a Lead Engineer, Engineering Quality (Aftermarket) to drive investigation and analysis of aftermarket quality issues and to coordinate cross-functional root-cause analyses. The role focuses on delivering weekly management reports and leading preventive actions.
The successful candidate will guide quality improvement initiatives, document lessons learned, and support KPI achievement for the R&D department in a dynamic automotive environment.

Investigate and analyze aftermarket quality complaints related to engineering design issues, and prepare weekly reports for management.
Coordinate on-site and off-site investigations with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Lead quality improvement initiatives to achieve departmental KPIs and provide regular progress updates.
Capture and document lessons learned from aftermarket issues to support preventive actions and continuous improvement.
Represent the R&D department in company-wide quality and Fire Response Team (FRT) activities.
Support departmental KPI achievement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive troubleshooting, vehicle diagnostics, or hardware/software quality engineering.
Knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and automotive diagnostic methodologies.
Familiarity with vehicle evaluation, NVH, EE, hardware/software, R&D, and integrated vehicle systems.
Understanding of quality management systems, standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
