Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead inspections, drive RCCA and 8D reporting, and uphold customer quality standards. The role requires PFMEA familiarity and ISO/IATF knowledge with strong documentation discipline.
The candidate will collaborate with IQC, SQE, Production, and Engineering teams to ensure corrective action effectiveness and continuous improvement across processes and products.

Carrying out inspections and perform machine buy-offs according to customer specification and internal quality requirements
Verify that all processes and products meet defined quality standards before progressing to the next stage
Evaluate, investigate, track nonconformity feedback using established root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes, such as 8D reporting
Ensure accurate documentation of evaluation, investigation findings, and corrective action records, with timely issue closure
Facilitate and promote structured problem-solving techniques to achieve effective root cause analysis and prevent issue recurrence
Communicate with cross-functional teams (including IQC, SQE, Production, and Engineering) to review nonconformity responses, verify records, and confirm corrective action effectiveness
Prepare, update, and maintain all relevant quality reports, audits, and documentation as required
Execute risk-based internal audits according to the annual audit plan and assist with other audit-related projects
Support and drive best practices across the quality system to ensure consistency and continuous improvement
Recommend and implement process enhancements that improve factory quality performance, simplify workflows, and enhance customer satisfaction
Collaborate with relevant departments to monitor and ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements, including nonconformities at the source
Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure
Bachelor's degree in quality, mechanical, or industrial engineering or a related field
Experience with root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes, including 8D reporting
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, including hands-on inspections and root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes, utilizing methodologies such as 8D Reporting
Familiarity with Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and risk assessment practices
Systems knowledge and familiarity (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)
Customer quality assurance experience, including internal and external audit participation
Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and structured problem-solving methodologies
Exposure to machine buy-off processes and industry quality standards is an added advantage
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities
