AFFIN Group in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations and drive profitability. You will oversee staff, sales targets, customer service, and regulatory compliance to ensure exceptional service and risk control.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in banking with leadership experience, a focus on retail banking products, and strong people management skills. This on-site role offers growth within AFFIN Group's branch network in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Professional banking certifications will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5-8 years of banking experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or branch management role.
• Strong experience in retail banking sales, branch operations, and customer relationship management.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing branch profitability.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products and services.
• Sound knowledge of BNM regulations, compliance requirements, and operational risk controls.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Strong business acumen and sales management capabilities.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and drive a high-performance culture.

Responsabilités

• Drive and achieve overall Branch Sales Target across deposits, loans, and bancassurance.
• Prevent fraud and losses through strong controls and audits.
• Control costs according to budget and financial plan.
• Ensure staff perform duties per Branch Manual and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain satisfactory audit ratings and timely follow-ups on findings.
• Coordinate Business Continuity Plan and regulatory compliance activities.
• Act as CLO and BUCO representative as needed.
• Provide staff training on products, compliance, and customer service.
• Manage client service levels to meet SLA and resolve complaints within SLA.
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance, and KPI alignment.
• Organize CSR activities and ensure security and cleanliness of the branch.
