Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an onsite Systems and Network Support professional to assist with daily operations in a data-center environment, supporting global tech infrastructures. The role includes working with Linux environments and handling Level 1/2 troubleshooting for servers, networking gear, and user systems.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with training provided to become proficient in company standards and technologies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/Computer Engineering or related field; relevant experience may substitute.

• At least 2 years of work experience in similar industry.
• Cisco CCNA or Microsoft MCSE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite systems and network support to clients.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. However, candidates with significant experience in the relevant field will also be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Fresh graduates in relevant fields are welcomed to apply
• Flexible to arrangement in fixed working hour and/or Shift Work with ad-hoc allowances
• Minimum of 2-years of working experience in similar industry.

Responsibility

• Provide onsite Systems and Network support to clients on daily operations.
• Working in Data Centers environment supporting global tech giants’ infrastructures.

• Conduct basic to advanced operations within Linux environments.
• Handle Level 1 or Level 2 analysis, troubleshooting and resolution on the problems related to servers, networking equipment’s and user systems.
• Resolve case tickets raised by customers, maintaining detailed record daily.
• Collaborate with Level 2 Support team to analyse and resolve complex problems.
• Engage with multiple stakeholders, including internal technical teams, external technical teams and customer personnel.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides.
• Sharing of knowledge through technical documentation, knowledge-based articles and team sharing sessions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance service delivery.
• Training will be provided.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
