Job summary

• Proficient in PowerShell and scripting; automation experience is a plus.

As a System & Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain reliable network and system infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability to support business operations. This includes researching, deploying, and supporting modern technology workloads (such as AI/ML) across the environment.

Key responsibilities

Manage and support Linux and Windows system environment

Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

Maintain documentation on IT inventory, procedures, policies, communications and enforcement of policies

Oversee the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability in compliance with company requirements

Monitor and test application performance for potential issues, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to fix them

Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

Extract data from the system for further analysis and management's decision on further planning

Research emerging tools, frameworks, and services (including AI/ML), and evaluate their suitability for automation, monitoring, and infrastructure operations

Support integration of new technology solutions, including AI-driven ones, into existing systems and assist developers/data teams with deployment, scaling, and ongoing operation

Work under minimum supervision with a sense of urgency in responding to system problems and service commitments; standby support is required

About you

Preferably 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcomed to apply

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. Majors: computer system and cyber security, system administration, network design and management, cloud computing

Hands-on implementation experience in server-related projects involving web and database servers

Experienced in Windows and/or Linux platform and networking (LAN & WAN)

Knowledge and skills of cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS is an added advantage

Professional Network Security and Cyber Security certification is an advantage

Good skills in PowerShell, Regular Expression (Regex), and other scripting languages

Exposure to or interest in AI/ML — such as deploying models, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), MLOps tools, or AI-related cloud services (e.g. Azure AI, AWS SageMaker) — is a strong advantage

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve system, server, and network issues

Ability to initiate corrective and proactive actions to minimize system and server outages
