Job summary

NEX CORPORATEIT SDN BHD is seeking an onsite Systems and Network Support Specialist to assist clients in daily operations within data centers. You will work in a global infrastructure environment and handle Linux tasks, from basic to advanced levels.

Responsibilities include Level 1–2 troubleshooting of servers, networking gear, and user systems; documenting guides; collaborating with Level 2 teams and stakeholders; and staying current with emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of working experience in a similar field.
• Strong teamwork, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Cisco CCNA or Microsoft MCSE certifications are a plus.

Job description

Provide onsite Systems and Network support to clients on daily operations.

Working in Data Centers environment supporting global tech giants’ infrastructures.

Conduct basic to advanced operations within Linux environments.

Handle Level 1 or Level 2 analysis, troubleshooting and resolution on the problems related to servers, networking equipment’s and user systems.

Resolve case tickets raised by customers, maintaining detailed record daily.

Collaborate with Level 2 Support team to analyse and resolve complex problems.

Engage with multiple stakeholders, including internal technical teams, external technical teams and customer personnel.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides.

Sharing of knowledge through technical documentation, knowledge-based articles and team sharing sessions.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance service delivery.

Training will be provided.

Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. However, candidates with significant experience in the relevant field will also be considered in lieu of formal education.

Fresh graduates in relevant fields are welcomed to apply

Minimum of 2-years of working experience in similar industry.
