Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Helpdesk Support Officer to assist in IT support, client communication and software support operations. This contract role welcomes fresh graduates and offers office-based work with occasional WFH.

You will record and categorize issues via WhatsApp, email and a ticketing system, coordinate with the technical team, and update clients on progress. Salary RM1,800–RM2,000/month, with opportunities for promotion and travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Administration or related field
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of IT / software systems is an advantage
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English
• Comfortable communicating with clients via WhatsApp, email and phone
• Able to travel to client sites when required

Responsibilities

• Receive and record client issues through WhatsApp, email and ticketing system
• Understand and categorize reported issues based on priority
• Coordinate with the technical / development team on reported issues
• Follow up on outstanding issues and monitor their progress
• Provide clients with updates on issue status and resolution
• Prepare Corrective Maintenance Reports and basic support documentation
• Maintain proper and organized support records
• Assist with occasional client/site visits
• Ensure support activities are carried out according to agreed SLA
• Perform other support and coordination tasks as assigned
