Job summary

STANDARD FOOD SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking an experienced HR administrator to manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee records. You will support payroll documentation, benefits, attendance, and policy implementation while coordinating across departments.

The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent English communication, and discretion with confidential information. Local regulatory knowledge and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Job description

Managing recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees

Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with relevant regulations

Processing payroll-related documentation and assisting with payroll administration

Coordinating employee benefits, leave applications, and attendance tracking systems

Providing administrative support to management and various departments, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documentation

Handling general correspondence and managing office communications

Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Arranging staff training and development programmes

Assisting with employee relations matters and queries

Managing office supplies, equipment and facilities as required

Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive HR and administrative information

Performing other administrative duties as assigned by management

What we're looking for

Proven experience working in an HR or administrative role, preferably in a similar environment

Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR management systems

Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, labour regulations, and HR best practices

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels

Discretion and ability to handle confidential information professionally

Certification in HR or relevant qualifications (preferred but not essential)

Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player

To continue his legacy, he had been passing down his experiential knowledge to the next generation leader, Mr. TAN SHINN LIANG for more than 7 years. Starting out from a mere of total 50’017ft³ cold room facilities to 123’178ft³, now, he ventures into establishing a stronger, dynamic as well as competent team with an even more efficient delivery system practiced from before.
