Job summary

STANDARD FOOD SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is hiring a Senior Marketing Executive to own brand direction, social media content strategy and digital marketing activities. This role suits someone who enjoys content creation, social media, and using AI tools to craft informative content that people want to save and share.

Key duties include daily content publication, managing XHS and Facebook, maintaining a consistent brand tone across platforms, generating organic leads, supporting the Sales Team, and

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute overall branding and content direction
• Create and publish at least 1 content/post per day, with the support of AI tools
• Develop informative, knowledge-driven content covering product knowledge, client interviews, and F&B industry insights
• Manage and grow XiaoHongShu (XHS), Facebook
• Maintain consistent brand tone, positioning and content style across platforms
• Generate organic leads through social media and content marketing
• Assist in qualifying leads and identifying potential customers
• Work closely with the Sales Team to support lead follow-up and broadcast activities
• Manage Facebook advertising campaigns, with a focus on business audiences
• Monitor advertising performance and budget utilisation
• Research and utilise suitable AI tools for script writing, image generation, content creation and marketing optimisation
• Propose relevant marketing tools, courses or optimisation plans when beneficial to the role
• Work closely with different departments to understand products, principals, campaigns and product demonstrations
• Translate product and business knowledge into useful marketing content

The interest in aquaculture farming begun when MR. TAN HEE KUANG also well known as Ah Kuang spent his childhood in the fish farm. Owing to this interest alone, STD Cold Storage was introduced and managed by Ah Kuang for nearly 30 years.

With this exposure, he was able to cultivate his knowledge and memorable career path in the aquaculture industry since the year of 1980. With the strong support of his in-depth knowledge in the aquaculture industry and continuous curiosity towards learning, he was the pioneer to begin importing live seafood into South Malaysia market such as Alaska King Crab, Geoduck, Razor Clams and more.

In addition to that, he is also specialized in providing professional advices on the culture environment needed for aquaculture farming to the chefs or owners. Equipped with this knowledge, he had the honor to serve various customers across the industries such as hotels, hospitals, resorts, golf clubs, institutions, all kinds of restaurants and even international customers such as cruises.

To continue his legacy, he had been passing down his experiential knowledge to the next generation leader, Mr. TAN SHINN LIANG for more than 7 years. Starting out from a mere of total 50’017ft³ cold room facilities to 123’178ft³, now, he ventures into establishing a stronger, dynamic as well as competent team with an even more efficient delivery system practiced from before. Emphasis on customer satisfaction, being Halal Certified and practicing HACCP had always been his utmost priority as quality is what he wishes to integrate in customer’s mind. With this confidence, tough challenges ahead are believed to be the mechanism for him to flourish even larger in the industry.
