Job summary

STANDARD FOOD SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking a proactive Customer Service / Internal Sales Executive in Skudai, JB. You will process customer orders, coordinate with warehouse and logistics, and ensure accurate invoicing for daily deliveries.

You will handle enquiries, prepare quotations, assist walk-in customers, and support the outdoor sales team with stock and back-office tasks. Strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient administration.

Qualifications

• Process customer purchase orders accurately and timely into the company system.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle stock return/exchange requests and document reasons per SOP.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales enquiries via phone or email; prepare quotations and confirm orders.
• Provide customers with up-to-date information on pricing, products, and delivery progress.
• Serve walk-in customers and process cash sales.
• Handle customer complaints related to sales or service; elevate to HOD when unable to resolve.
• Provide quotation, stock, and other back-office support to the outdoor sales team.
• Prepare weekly sales reports, flagging exceptions (delayed shipments, frequent returns) for HOD's review.
• Maintain an organized and systematic filing system.

Job description

(Skudai, JB) Customer Service / Internal Sales Executive

1. Process customer purchase orders accurately and timely into the company system.

2. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics departments to ensure on-time delivery.

3. Ensure all invoices for the day's deliveries are finalized and ready, and lorries are able to depart by 9:00 AM daily.

4. Handle stock return/exchange requests and document reasons per SOP (quality issue, order error, customer rejection, etc.).

2. Customer Relationship & Enquiry Handling

1. Handle sales enquiries via phone or email; prepare quotations and confirm orders.

2. Provide customers with up-to-date information on pricing, products, and delivery progress.

3. Serve walk-in customers and process cash sales.

4. Handle customer complaints related to sales or service; elevate to HOD when unable to resolve.

Starting out from a mere of total 50'017ft³ cold room facilities to 123'178ft³, now, he ventures into establishing a stronger, dynamic as well as competent team with an even more efficient delivery system practiced from before.
