Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support professional in Ipoh, Malaysia, to monitor and manage enterprise environments including ERP/SAP, backup, Windows Server, Linux, and Microsoft 365. You will work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable services and drive improvements.

The role emphasizes incident resolution, DR planning, security reviews, automation exploration, and technical documentation, with preference for candidates holding an IT degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ CS with CGPA ≥ 3.0.
• Executive level: fresh graduates welcome; Senior Executive: 5+ years.
• Hands-on ERP/SAP, M365, Windows/Linux administration, backups, and security.
• Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Cisco, cloud) a plus.
• Interest in automation and AI-powered IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches, and infrastructure improvements.

Support and manage enterprise IT infrastructure environments, including:

• ERP/SAP platforms
• Enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Windows Server (Wintel) and Linux server environments
• Microsoft 365 and related cloud services
• Infrastructure monitoring and operational tools

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable IT services.
• Perform troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Coordinate with technology vendors on system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
• Participate in IT audit activities, compliance reviews, and security assessments to ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Explore, evaluate, and support AI-enabled IT automation initiatives, including AI agents and autonomous task execution to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Computer Science or relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 3.0 from recognized universities.

For Executive level, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

For Senior Executive level, at least 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT infrastructure support and administration.

Hands-on experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:

• ERP/SAP administration or support
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Windows Server and Linux administration
• Enterprise backup and recovery solutions
• Networking and cybersecurity technologies
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Cisco, cybersecurity, cloud certifications) will be an added advantage.

Basic understanding or strong interest in modern automation technologies, AI solutions, and AI-powered IT operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Good in teamwork and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to adapt to evolving technologies.
