Job summary

A recruitment agency in Subang Jaya is looking for an IT Support technician to implement and maintain network and infrastructure, along with supporting the IT helpdesk. Candidates must have over 1 year of IT support experience and be familiar with Microsoft Office. This role requires strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot issues effectively. Ideal candidates should be able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Excel VBA and programming languages like VB.net and C# is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong computer skills and able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and provide daily maintenance support of the network and infrastructure.
• Install hardware/software and support IT helpdesk.
• Maintain and manage IT assets and User Access Rights.
• Identify IT risks, threats and vulnerabilities in the technology infrastructure.
• Ensure daily/weekly backups are successfully performed.
• Provide IT network/infrastructure advice for IT Security Control.
• Recommend, implement, and manage security controls for system and network.

• To maintain and manage IT assets and User Access Rights.
• To identify IT risks, threats and vulnerabilities in the company’s technology infrastructure.
• To ensure daily/weekly backup are successfully performed.
• Provide IT network/infrastructure related advice in designing and implementing IT Security Control.
• Responsible for recommending, implementing and managing security controls for system and network.
• Periodically reviewing the SOP, guideline, policy, procedure and control on network and infrastructure.
