Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an IT Support professional to assist a production team in daily IT operations. You will troubleshoot PCs/laptops, manage hardware, and support AV equipment in meeting rooms across the plant.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science / Information Systems, and about 1 year of factory IT support experience. You will liaise with vendors and assist in IT procurement and asset management.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Computer Science/ Information System.
• 1 year working experience in support factory production environment.
• Good knowledge in basic configuration about TCP/IP networking (LAN/WAN).
• Possess good hardware and software assembly, upgrades, repairs, troubleshooting and resolution skills.
• Able to troubleshoot PCs and laptops that runs under various version of Windows OS.
• Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support project manager in overseeing the team and improvement plans.
• SAP – handle purchase request and shopping cart support, invoices within IT, procurement, requesters and vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, new IT purchase requisitions, hardware discussion, arrival, collection and installation.
• Inventory control and asset management for hardware and software.
• Follow up and resolve IT-related requests, reporting, system access, and end-user coordination.
• Set up and support IT hardware (PCs, printers, barcode scanner, phones, displays).
• Set up and support company PDA, tablets and mobile phones.
• Install, update and troubleshoot IT software.
• Meeting room setup and AV conference equipment support.
• Manage apps/software licenses and related items.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
• Assist on other IT matters as requested by superiors.

• Setup, install, update, troubleshoot and support IT software.
• Meeting room setup and support, including projector, Audio Visual (AV) conference equipment.
• Managing apps/ software volume & professional license etc.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
• Help on other IT matters as and when requested by superiors.
