Winchester Interconnect (M) is seeking an IT Support professional to manage end-user computing, servers, and network infrastructure within Malaysia. Support, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues related to end-user desktops/laptops, servers, printers and other network issues within the organisation. This role involves maintaining IT documentation, supporting IT governance framework implementation, capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, system audits, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Support (remote/onsite), maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues related to end-user desktops/laptops, servers, printers and other network issues within the organisation
Maintain and review IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts
Support, review and liaise with end users on the implementation of an IT governance framework, policies, systems, infrastructure to ensure compliance and alignment to guidelines
Perform and participate in capacity planning, redundancy planning and execution of Disaster Recovery Plan
Provide input for annual IT requirements planning and budgeting
Conduct regular system audit for IT effectiveness, efficiency and security
Analyse and evaluate system and users' requirements and make recommendations for IT upgrades
Proactively propose suggestions to improve IT systems and operations
Assist to drive digital transformation initiative, work with external service providers to implement new applications, projects or upgrades
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related fields
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
Experience with end-user computing, server management, network management
Knowledgeable of best practices in general IT and end user support
Experience in CRM/ERP systems would be a strong advantage
Strong problem-solving abilities, high customer-service mindset, proactive communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
