Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malacca City is seeking a Full-time or Contract IT Helpdesk staff. You will assist customers via phone or email, diagnose basic hardware and software issues, and maintain records of problems and solutions.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong Malay/English, good communication, and ability to work under pressure are essential; knowledge of LAN/WAN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
• Able to identify PC, Printer and hardware problems and advising on the solution.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Hardware maintenance especially PC and Printer.
• In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN.
• Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via phone or email.
• Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
• Keep record of problems and customers solution.
• Follow-up with customers.
• Reporting based on projects.
• Proficiency in Malay/ English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain professional demeanor.
