Job summary

The Line Between in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on IT Executive to manage and support our Microsoft infrastructure, cloud, identity and security environment, together with Cloudflare services. You will ensure our systems are secure, reliable and well-optimised while also supporting automation and light DevOps tasks as a solo contributor.

This role requires a Diploma or degree in IT or related field and 3–6 years of practical experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, CS or related field.
• 3–6 years hands-on experience in systems administration.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, M365/Exchange Online, Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Good networking fundamentals and PowerShell scripting.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online including mailboxes and mail flow.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and hybrid identity.
• Manage Cloudflare DNS, CDN, WAF and SSL/TLS.
• Configure and maintain Cloudflare Zero Trust, including Access, Tunnel and Gateway.
• Monitor Cloudflare analytics, security events and performance, and respond to incidents.
• Use PowerShell to automate routine IT tasks and improve operational efficiency.

IT Executive (Microsoft Infrastructure, Security & Cloudflare)

We are looking for a hands-on IT Executive to manage and support our Microsoft infrastructure, cloud, identity and security environment, together with our Cloudflare services. You will be responsible for keeping our infrastructure secure, reliable and well-optimised, while also supporting automation, light DevOps activities and continuous improvement. This is a technical individual contributor role - you will be expected to troubleshoot, implement and maintain systems independently rather than manage a team.

Key responsibilities

Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.

Manage Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, including mailboxes, distribution lists, mail flow and retention.

Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including user lifecycle, MFA, Conditional Access and hybrid identity.

Manage domain controllers, certificates and related domain operations.

Support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.

Manage Cloudflare DNS, routing, CDN, caching and SSL/TLS.

Configure and maintain WAF, DDoS protection, firewall rules, rate limiting and other security controls.

Support Cloudflare Zero Trust, including Access, Tunnel and Gateway.

Monitor Cloudflare analytics, security events and performance, and respond to incidents.

Use PowerShell to automate routine IT tasks and improve operational efficiency.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3-6 years of hands-on experience in systems administration or infrastructure.

Strong experience with Windows Server & Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP, Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, hybrid identity, and Cloudflare DNS, CDN, WAF and SSL/TLS.

Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs and firewalls.

Practical PowerShell scripting experience.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good documentation and communication skills.

Able to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
