Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead IT Infrastructure and Security, ensuring reliability, security, and performance of the organization's IT environment. You will oversee infrastructure projects, governance, and compliance while driving continuous improvement across IT services.

The ideal candidate has a degree in IT, at least 8 years in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity, and 3+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in IT infrastructure, systems, networking, or cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years leading technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of M365, cloud, servers, networks, and security.
• Experience with DR planning and IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT infra and security initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Manage IT infra: M365, cloud, servers, networks, endpoints, and security.
• Oversee cybersecurity ops, incident response, risk, and compliance.
• Lead DR planning, business continuity, backups, infra improvements.
• Manage projects and vendor relationships for timely delivery.
• Maintain IT policies, docs, audits, security, regulatory tasks.
• Mentor and develop tech team through training and coaching.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and incidents.

Technical Manager - IT Infrastructure&Security

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager, IT Infrastructure & Security to lead and manage our IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technical operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the organization's IT environment, overseeing technology projects, managing infrastructure and security initiatives, supporting compliance requirements, and driving continuous improvement across IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, cloud services, servers, networks, endpoints, and security solutions.
• Oversee cybersecurity operations, security controls, incident response, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, business continuity readiness, backup management, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Manage technology projects and vendor relationships, ensuring timely and successful delivery of initiatives.
• Maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation, and support audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technical team members through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues, critical incidents, and stakeholder support requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to ensure effective service delivery, including VIP user support and technical presales activities where required.

About you

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, or cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, server infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience in project management, vendor management, and IT service delivery.
