Support the reliability, security and continuous improvement of Superlon's IT environment across infrastructure, end-user systems and business applications. The role combines hands-on IT support with network and cybersecurity awareness, business-process thinking and responsible use of AI and related digital tools to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, improve workflows, support simple development or automation needs and contribute to the Company's overall IT roadmap.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day technical support for end users covering desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, operating systems, business applications and other IT equipment, ensuring issues are diagnosed, documented and resolved within reasonable service levels.
Support the setup, monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN connections and related connectivity services, escalating complex issues where required.
Support cybersecurity controls and good practices including endpoint protection, patching, access control, user account administration, backup monitoring, phishing awareness, vulnerability follow-up and incident escalation in accordance with Company policies.
Apply business-process thinking when handling IT requests by understanding the user workflow, identifying root causes and proposing practical technology improvements rather than addressing only the immediate technical symptom.
Use approved AI, automation, scripting, diagnostic and knowledge tools responsibly to accelerate troubleshooting, analyse logs or errors, support coding and debugging, document solutions and improve productivity while protecting confidential Company information.
Assist in supporting, maintaining and improving internal software, databases, web applications, integrations, reports and simple automation solutions; coordinate with vendors or developers when issues require specialist support.
Map and document business process flows, system dependencies, user requirements and pain points, and work with departments to identify opportunities for digitisation, workflow automation and system improvement.
Support IT projects and the Company's overall IT roadmap, including infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, system implementation, cloud adoption, digitalisation, AI enablement and other technology improvement programmes.
Maintain accurate IT asset records, software licences, system configurations, user access records, technical documentation, SOPs and issue-resolution knowledge for operational control and audit purposes.
Support data backup, recovery readiness, business continuity and disaster-recovery activities, including scheduled checks and documentation of recovery procedures.
Liaise with hardware, software, network, cybersecurity and system vendors; assist with quotations, service coordination, issue escalation and follow-up to ensure agreed deliverables are completed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or Management that are reasonably related to the role.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant IT experience are encouraged to apply; practical internship, project or hands‑on technical experience will be considered.
Working knowledge of computer hardware, Windows environments, networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, basic firewall concepts and common IT troubleshooting practices.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles including endpoint security, access control, patch management, phishing, backups, vulnerability awareness and incident escalation.
Business‑process minded with the ability to understand how departments work, map process flows, identify inefficiencies and translate operational problems into practical technology solutions.
Comfortable using AI and related productivity or development tools for research, troubleshooting, coding assistance, debugging automation and documentation, with sound judgement on data confidentiality and output validation.
