Job summary

Join our team and put your technical skills to work. In this role, you will support daily IT operations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help keep our systems running smoothly. You will report to the IT Manager and gain hands-on exposure to system administration, user support and system improvement projects to support daily IT operations and system improvement projects.

What you'll do?

Provide first-line technical support to staff members, responding to IT help desk queries and troubleshooting hardware and software issues

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, peripherals, and other IT equipment

Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime

Perform regular backup procedures and ensure data security protocols are followed

Support the rollout and maintenance of software applications across the organisation

Document and track IT issues, solutions, and system configurations using ticketing systems

Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and deactivation of accounts

Support IT security initiatives, including user training on best practices and compliance requirements

Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and improvements

Maintain IT equipment inventory and assist with procurement of IT resources as needed

What we're looking for?

A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.

Relevant experience in system administration or IT support is an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Technical knowledge of computer hardware, software and related equipment.

Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

A practical approach to troubleshooting, with strong attention to detail.

A patient, polite and responsive manner when assisting users.

The ability to prioritise support requests, maintain accurate records and complete tasks on time.

A responsible approach to handling confidential information and following instructions.
