We are looking for a skilled and hands‑on IT Engineer to implement, maintain, and support enterprise IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will work with servers, networks, virtualization, cloud platforms, cybersecurity solutions, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure and System Administration
- Install, configure, maintain and optimize secure and reliable IT infrastructure.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, storage systems and network devices.
- Monitor system and network performance to maintain availability, reliability and security.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery, patch management and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, application and infrastructure issues.
- Ensure IT services meet agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
Cloud and Virtualization
- Deploy and maintain virtualization environments, including VMware and Microsoft Hyper‑V.
- Support cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and TM Cloud.
- Assist with cloud migration, hybrid cloud deployment, capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Implement and support Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions, including H3C, Sangfor, HyperGrid and Cisco.
Cybersecurity and Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, access controls and encryption.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments, security reviews and remediation activities.
- Monitor potential security threats and support incident‑response activities.
- Ensure IT infrastructure complies with ISO/IEC 27001, company policies and applicable security requirements.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
Project Implementation and Coordination
- Work closely with the Project Manager to plan and implement IT infrastructure projects.
- Prepare technical proposals, implementation plans, reports and project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor assigned tasks, timelines, technical requirements and project deliverables.
- Provide technical updates and elevate project risks or issues when necessary.
Technical and Operational Support
- Provide hands‑on technical support for system implementation and daily IT operations.
- Support enterprise collaboration and conferencing solutions, including Cisco, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Huawei.
- Provide on‑site technical support and travel to customer or project locations when required.
- Maintain incident and change‑management records in accordance with ITIL practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure performance, security and efficiency.
- Support automation, digital transformation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Perform other IT‑related duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows or Linux server administration, networking and enterprise infrastructure.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity controls, backup systems, disaster recovery and patch management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with clients, vendors and internal teams.
- Willing to provide on‑site support and travel when required.
Added Advantages
- Experience with HCI solutions such as H3C, Sangfor, HyperGrid or Cisco.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and ITIL practices.
- Previous experience leading technical assignments, guiding junior team members or coordinating IT infrastructure projects.
- Relevant IT infrastructure, cloud, networking or cybersecurity certifications, including CompTIA Security+, Network+, CySA+ or PenTest+, CEH; Cisco CCNA or CCNP; Fortinet; Microsoft Azure; AWS; or VMware certifications.
