J&T Express (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is offering an Internship – Logistics & Transportation Operations to gain hands-on experience in fleet management, route optimization, linehaul coordination, and daily logistics tasks with regional hubs.

You will monitor truck movements, track performance using Excel, and assist in resolving transit delays while supporting fleet maintenance and safety checks. Ideal for students in logistics or related fields seeking at least a 3-month stint.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing/completed a Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business, or related fields.
• Internship Duration: able to commit to at least 3 months.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (eg., formulas, VLOOKUP, basic data tracking).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, hub personnel, and internal teams.
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and tracking daily truck movements, driver schedules, and delivery status across regional sorting hubs and hubs/branches.
• Help coordinate linehaul routes and transport schedules to ensure on-time dispatch and arrival.
• Track daily shipment volumes, transport efficiency, and transit lead time using Excel / operational tools.
• Prepare regular operational reports (e.g., fuel usage, delivery performance, fleet maintenance logs) for management review.
• Act as a point of contact between driver leads, hub managers, and vendors to assist in resolving transit delays or operational issues.
• Support the team in fleet maintenance tracking, road tax/insurance renewals, and vehicle safety compliance checks.
• Assist supervisor in identifying operational bottlenecks and optimizing dispatch routes.
• Support any ad-hoc operational or logistics projects assigned by the team/management.

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics & Transportation Operations Intern to join our fast-growing operations team.
