Job summary

J&T Express (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Route Planning Executive to plan and optimise line-haul routes, vehicle allocation, schedules and operating models to drive cost efficiency.

You will monitor route performance, vehicle utilisation, shipment flow and hub capacity to ensure smooth operations across networks in Malaysia. The role requires a bachelor’s in logistics or related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• Experience in logistics or route planning is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise line-haul routes, vehicle allocation, schedules and operating models to improve cost and transportation efficiency.
• Monitor route performance, vehicle utilisation, shipment flow, hub capacity and operational efficiency.
• Develop route plans for regular operations, peak seasons and public holidays.
• Analyse operational data and identify opportunities to improve capacity, loading efficiency and transportation costs.
• Monitor inbound/outbound capacity, shipment volume and pending shipments to ensure proper capacity matching.
• Coordinate with hubs, branches and relevant departments to optimise transportation and route operations.
• Support the improvement of route planning standards, SOPs and operational processes.

Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Power BI or other data analysis tools is an added advantage.
