Job summary

DHL Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Intern to join our Insanely Centric Team as a Certified International Specialist. You will support customs clearance by verifying importer/exporter codes and tax numbers, and by entering commercial invoice data into our system.

The role requires at least a degree or equivalent, good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, a six-month internship, and willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Verify customer details, importer/exporter codes, and tax registration numbers before submission in data entry system.
• Enter commercial invoice details (item descriptions, quantities, values & country of origin) into the system.
• Cross-check invoice information against shipping documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Flag discrepancies, missing information, or incomplete invoices to the customs clearance team for follow-up.

YOUR TASKS

• Verify customer details, importer/exporter codes, and tax registration numbers before submission in data entry system.
• Enter commercial invoice details (item descriptions, quantities, values & country of origin) into the system.
• Cross-check invoice information against shipping documents (packing lists, airway bills, permits) to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Flag discrepancies, missing information, or incomplete invoices to the customs clearance team for follow-up.

YOUR PROFILE

Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.

At least Degree or equivalent and above

Good Spoken and Written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Internship duration of at least 6 months.

Preferred fields of study: Logistics & Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Willing to work in shifts.
