Job summary

DHL Group in Malaysia is seeking a delivery associate to manage daily pickup and delivery of shipments for customers in Sepang. You will sort routes, update ETAs, and coordinate with the SPC/admin team to meet service levels.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer care in a dynamic international environment. Applicants should have SPM or equivalent, solid English/Bahasa Malaysia, and hold a valid driving license (forklift license preferred).

Responsibilities

• Handle daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers.
• Complete multiple deliveries and collections, prioritise workload to meet time commitments.
• Revise and update ETAs according to procedures.
• Liaise with admin team to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Establish relationships with external customers to grow the business.

YOUR TASKS

• Handle daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from our customers
• Complete multiple deliveries and collections of shipment of a variety of weights. Sort and prioritise workload (including multiple route sort) to ensure time commitments are met
• Revise and update ETAs in accordance to procedures
• Liaise with SPC / admin team to ensure customer requirement are meet
• Establish relationships with external customers to maintain the grow the business in a positive manner
• Maintain agreed service levels and abide by corrective measures implemented as and when required
• Ensure adequate hand over to other staff at the change of shift to ensure continuity and maintenance of SLAs
• Under tight deadlines, drives vehicle to customer sites
• Climbs in and out of vehicle
• Walks up and down stairs as required to pick up and deliver documents and packages to and from customers according to established procedures, in all weather conditions
• Operate a scanner to record shipping and package information for documents/packages picked up or delivered
• Ensure duty collectables are succesfully collected each day
• Ensure ontime & successful first time delivery
• Generate new business through sales leads

YOUR PROFILE

• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• At least SPM or equivalent and above
• Good Spoken and Written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess valid Driving License and Forklift License (Preferably).
