Job summary

DHL Group in Malaysia is seeking a proactive professional to lead a gateway operations team on a rostered shift, ensuring shipments move in and out of the country safely and efficiently. You will drive standard process flows and uphold quality and service standards across inbound and outbound activities.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. Driving and forklift licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• Proven Diploma or equivalent level education.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia required; driving and forklift licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a gateway operations team on rostered shifts ensuring shipments enter/exit per network procedures.
• Manage daily operations to meet customer needs and agreed processes.
• Process inbound and outbound material per current procedures.
• Ensure equipment is operational and take corrective action when needed.
• Maintain clean, ready-to-work process areas for next cycles.
• Foster a culture of quality, service excellence and flexibility.

YOUR TASKS

• Lead a gateway operations team on a rostered shift basis ensuring that shipments enter and exit the country in accordance with network procedures in a safe and secure manner
• Lead the standard and agreed process flow in daily operations to satisfy the customer needs and requirements
• Process inbound and outbound material according to the latest processes and procedures
• Ensure that all relevant equipment is operating and take corrective actions when equipment fails
• Keep the process area clean and tidy and make sure it is ready for the next process cycle
• Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers) and flexibility

YOUR PROFILE

• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• At least Diploma or equivalent and above
• Good Spoken and Written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess valid Driving License and Forklift License (Preferably).
