Job summary

Asia Tents Arena Sdn Bhd, known as Asia Tents Manufacturing, is seeking a Project Coordinator to coordinate interior fit-out projects from planning through completion. The role liaises with clients, suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and timely deliverables.

You will manage schedules, technical documentation, and design requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, monitor site progress, and travel locally and overseas as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in interior coordination, fit-out projects, construction, event projects, or project operations support.
• Knowledge of interior works, drawings, and site coordination processes.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software is an added advantage.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel for meetings and site visits (locally & internationally)
• Possess own transport
• Flexible to work extended hours when required
• Excellent communication skills minimum in English, multilingual skills added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interior fit-out projects from planning through project completion.
• Liaise with internal departments, clients, suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support project teams in managing schedules, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate design requirements, technical drawings, and project specifications with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor project and site progress, identify issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist in material sourcing, delivery coordination, and supplier management.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
• Support quality control activities to ensure work meets project and company standards.
• Attend project meetings and ensure timely follow-up of action items.
• Travel to project sites locally and overseas when required.
