Job summary

Zohorecruit in Malaysia invites an Interior Fit-Out Project/Site Coordinator (Engineering/Architecture) to join our team in Puchong. You will plan, coordinate sub-contractors, monitor renovation works, and ensure a safe site.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Architecture or Construction Management or Civil Engineering with 3–5 years’ interior fit-out experience, and is proficient in 2D/3D drawings and MS Project/Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma in Architecture/Construction Management/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of INTERIOR FIT-OUT experience with a proven track record.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills; ability to document progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects including coordinating sub-contractors and installation works.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure quality control.
• Generate daily site reports and status updates for Designers and Management.
• Coordinate with Designers, Project Directors, owners, and contractors to resolve issues.

General Job Description

Plan & manage project including coordinating sub-contractor, installation arrangement, control of renovation and interior design related works while

maintaining a safe work environment.

Knowledge about material application.

Requisition supplies and materials to complete the projects.

Good in site problem solving abilities.

Daily progressive site updates to Designer and Project Director.

Able to work in team and well coordinate with Designer.

Ensures all variation changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are properly documented.

Plan, develop and implement quality work control programs.

Confer with Project Directors, owners, customers, contractors, and consultants to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

Requirements

Applicants with Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Postgraduate in Architecture/ Construction Management/Civil

Engineering or equivalent is an added advantage.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in INTERIOR FIT-OUT INDUSTRIES with proven track records and analytical experience in successful

project completion.

Good leadership and excellent planning skills for monitoring project plans and schedules.

Must possess knowledge of Project Management concepts and principles.

Able to generate daily site report and status to Designer and Management.

Knowledge in study drawings includes 2D & 3D perspective, layout plan and detailed drawings is ESSENTIAL.

Applicants must possess good written and strong oral communications with a wide range of clients, consultants, and subcontractors and proficient in English.

Possess positive working attitude, strong attention to detail, proactive, responsible, resourceful, and able to work independently.

Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

An awareness of health and safety procedures and legislation to run a safe construction site.

Cost conscious and sound commercial awareness to allocate and manage the project budget effectively according to the project requirements.

Well versed in technical/computing skills programs like MS Project, Microsoft Office Excel and Word, M. PowerPoint.

Possess own transport and ability to travel as and when required including outstation.

Able to work at night shift where job requires.
