Zusammenfassung

DJS Interior Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Cheras, Kuala Lumpur team. This full-time role supports interior construction and project management by coordinating schedules, documenting progress, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will manage communications between clients, contractors, and internal teams, prepare contracts and drawings, and monitor costs and safety standards. A related degree and 2–3 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or similar role within construction or interior design industry.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining project documentation and records.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes, specifications, and safety standards.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and address project challenges promptly.
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Willingness to visit project sites as required.
• Preferably bilingual (English and Malay) would be advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
• Liaise between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and progress reports.
• Track project costs, budgets, and expenditures to identify variances and support financial control.
• Assist in site inspections and monitor work quality to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including ordering materials and equipment, and managing supplier relationships.
• Maintain accurate project records and create comprehensive project documentation for filing and reference.
• Support the project management team in addressing issues, resolving conflicts, and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports and updates for stakeholders and senior management.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.
