Job summary

PolicyStreet is seeking a proactive Sales Development professional in Kuala Lumpur to identify and reach out to potential SME and corporate clients for insurance solutions. You will build a robust pipeline through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and referrals, while qualifying leads for senior sales teammates to close.

The role requires strong English communication, with Malay or Mandarin/Cantonese as a bonus, and a disciplined approach to following up on leads.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role.
• Comfortable with cold outreach via calls, emails, and DMs.
• Strong communication in English; Malay and Mandarin/Cantonese are a plus.
• Organised and disciplined about following up on leads.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to prospective clients (SMEs, corporates, and partners).
• Build and maintain a pipeline of leads through outbound outreach and referrals.
• Qualify leads and arrange meetings for senior sales members.
• Support proposal, quotation, and pitch material preparation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of leads and activity.
• Represent PolicyStreet at events, roadshows, and partner meetings.
