RHB Insurance Berhad (Ipoh Branch) is seeking a Business Development Executive to support growth across agency, RHB Group, and direct portfolios. You’ll help expand market share and drive strategic marketing initiatives to meet targets.

The role requires a degree or professional qualification and initiative to develop strong relationships, with fresh graduates welcome to apply. You will collaborate with underwriters and support compliance across activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in formulating and implementing marketing strategies for the Agency channel.
• Manage and grow agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios to boost productivity and profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriters on risk acceptance within approved limits by Head Office.
• Drive Agency Recruitment Programmes to strengthen and expand the agency force.
• Organize relationship-building activities with agents and business partners.
• Conduct agency portfolio segmentation and identify opportunities for growth.
• Review and monitor product portfolios for competitiveness and relevance.
• Identify market opportunities and develop structured marketing strategies to expand market share.
• Coordinate surveys and risk management programmes for Banca Retail clients.
• Monitor compliance with Credit Control policies, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
• Ensure all business activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
