Job summary

Melewar Steel Tube Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, invites a Sales/Export Support professional to handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate data entry and timely order progression.

You will coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Production and Finance to arrange delivery, prepare export documentation, and maintain records for audits. Mandarin fluency is preferred, with English as a secondary language; strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with preferably sales experience in steel or related industries.
• Fluent Mandarin as primary language; good English is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and prepare quotations based on pricing and stock availability.
• Process customer Purchase Orders (PO) and accurately key in order details into the system for processing.
• Monitor outstanding orders and book truck to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Prepare Mill Certificates and ensure K2 Forms are provided to customers in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics on delivery arrangements.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation for export shipments and export rebate claims.
• Liaise with customers on order status, delivery schedules and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Assist with audit requirements by preparing and providing the necessary supporting documentation when required.
