Responsibilities

• Verify sales contracts against customer PO for price, quantity, delivery date, and terms.
• Issue Sales Requests to Production Planning.
• Coordinate cargo readiness and delivery schedules with customers; ensure FIFO coil deliveries.
• Organize daily transport bookings and monitor performance; resolve delivery issues.
• Collaborate with credit control to monitor customer credit limits.
• Coordinate export sales activities: coil list, invoices, packing lists, shipping docs, port transport, surveyor.
• Check export documents for LC compliance.
• Manage sales tender process: invites, approvals, payments, coil collection.
• Prepare downgrade memos for coils with QA; coordinate with QC.
• Prepare scrap tender docs and monitor collection and cash advances.
• Manage new scrap dealer applications and communications.
• Coordinate scrap quotations and monthly scrap reports.
• Coordinate internal scrap transfers, deliveries, and monthly scrap reports.

Job description

Senior Commercial Executive - Customer Service & Logistics

Check sales contract - ensure price, quantity, delivery date, terms and conditions are tally with customer’s purchase order and requirements

Issue Sales Request to Production Planning Dept.

Coordinate with customers on cargo readiness, delivery schedules and arrangements, monitor orders and ensure coil deliveries follow the FIFO method.

Coordinate daily deliveries with transporters, including truck bookings, performance monitoring and resolving delivery-related issues with customers and transporters.

Work closely with credit control dept to monitor customer credit limit

Coordinate export sales activities, including coil list, invoice, packing list, shipping instructions, shipping documents, transportation to port and surveyor arrangements.

Check export documents to ensure compliance with LC terms and conditions.

Manage sales tender process, including preparing coil lists, identifying defects, obtaining approvals, issuing tender invitations, notifying awarded bidders, collecting payments and arranging coil collection.

Prepare downgrade memo for coils requested by QA and coordinate with QC for further action.

Prepare scrap tender documents, contract, required dealer documents and monitor scrap collection and cash advance balance.

Manage new scrap dealer applications, document submission, assessment and communication of results.

Coordinate scrap quotation and prepare monthly scrap report.

Coordinate internal scrap transfer, including Delivery Instruction and truck arrangement, and prepare monthly scrap report

What we're looking for :

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial roles, customer service management or logistics coordination within the manufacturing or related industries

Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, inventory control and transportation coordination

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated capability in data analysis and process improvement

Ability to work independently

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage
