Job summary

LX Pantos in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced shipping professional to manage international shipments, liaise with suppliers and forwarders, and coordinate cargo readiness and schedules.

You will handle Sea Freight Imp + Exp (FCL/LCL), prepare all related documents, and maintain strong communication with 3PLs and internal teams. This role requires 2–4 years in Shipping or Air Freight Forwarding and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Shipping or Air Freight Forwarding.
• Exposure to import/export operations and freight coordination.
• Strong communication with 3PLs, forwarders, and vendors.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage international shipment by liaising with supplier and forwarders for cargo readiness and shipment schedules.
• Interface with internal/external freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs brokers and other functions to coordinate shipments.
• Handle Sea Freight Imp + Exp (FCL/LCL) and all shipment documents.
• Provide customer service including bookings, enquiries and requests.
• Prepare all shipment documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, origin certificates).
• Track job progress and report daily and monthly; maintain documentation and filing.

Key responsibilities

Manage international shipment by liaising with supplier and forwarders for cargo readiness and shipment schedules

Interface with internal/external freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs brokers, and other functional areas to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment

Handle Sea Freight Imp + Exp (FCL/LCL) and all shipment documents

Provide all matters of customer satisfaction service includes bookings, enquiries, and requests

Handle full set of shipping documentations-invoices, packing list, bills of lading, certificate of origin etc.

Track job progress and coordinate with all related departments to ensure the job completion with periodic daily and monthly reporting

Maintain good documentation and filing system

About you

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Shipping or Air Freight Forwarding company

Good understanding of import/export operations industry-leading MNC companies

Ability to communicate effectively with 3PL's, transporters, vendors, shippers and forwarding agent

Good knowledge in computers and MS Office applications

Able to meet tight dateline with trustworthy and able to work long hours
