Phabritek Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a logistics professional to coordinate daily import/export shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy of documentation. You will liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, suppliers, and customers, while handling customs clearance and compliance with regulations.
The role requires 2–3 years in import/export, shipping, or freight forwarding, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential.

Coordinate and manage daily import and export shipments, schedules, track cargo movements to ensure on-time delivery.
Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, permits, and customs declarations.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely shipment arrangements.
Handle customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with import/export regulations and requirements.
Verify shipping documents, duties, taxes, freight charges, and other related costs.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and Production regarding shipment schedules and requirements.
Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, customs issues, and other logistics-related problems, maintain accurate records and filing of all import/export documents and transactions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and statutory requirements.
Support cost optimization initiatives related to freight, logistics, and transportation.
Perform other duties related to import, export, and logistics operations as assigned.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in import/export, shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
Good knowledge of import/export procedures, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and international trade regulations.
Familiarity with Incoterms and shipping terms.
Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, and government authorities.
Good organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
