Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for irrigation solutions in Klang Valley. The role reports to the General Manager and operates in a hybrid setup with intake in Oct–Nov 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Diploma in Agricultural/Water resources related field as per job listing.
• 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in agriculture, irrigation, plantations, pumps or fertigation.
• Solid understanding of irrigation system design (drip, sprinkler, micro) with pumping, filtration and automation controls.
• Proven ability to close technical deals with established networks across plantations, government bodies and agro-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and secure new sales opportunities across plantations, agro-industrial accounts, and government agencies to hit revenue targets.
• Assess farm sites to design and propose tailored systems (drip/micro-irrigation, sprinklers, pumps, filtration, fertigation, and automation).
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity while building key relationships with consultants, contractors, and agricultural partners.
• Oversee the full sales cycle—from quotations and negotiations to internal logistics coordination, project handover, and after-sales support.
