Job summary

HYDRATECH GROUP SDN. BHD. is seeking a Sales Manager (Technical Sales) to lead the Malaysia office in Kuala Lumpur.

The role focuses on sales of technical and product systems, calibration and in-house services, with responsibilities spanning from lead generation to closing deals. The ideal candidate has a mechanical or mechatronics background, at least 2 years in technical sales, and is ready to travel across Malaysia and Vietnam to grow business relationships and meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mechanical, mechatronics or offshore engineering field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in technical sales, preferably in high-pressure systems.
• Experience with hydraulic principles is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is advantageous; SAP/DocuWare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Hydratech Malaysia Office.
• Drive sales: visits, quotations, proposals, presentations, negotiations, closing.
• Perform cold-calling to broaden the customer base and generate leads.
• Respond to RFQ with timely product information and quotations.
• Develop relationships with customers and vendors; achieve revenue targets.
• Plan weekly sales calls, forecast, and report progress.

Sales Manager (Technical Sales, Based in KL, Malaysia)

• In-charge of the daily operations of Hydratech Malaysia Office.
• Handle company sales account, technical system sales / product sales, calibration and in-house services sales in Malaysia.
• Perform sales activities to meet corporate objectives & targets including sales visits, prepare quotations / proposals, product & proposal presentation, negotiations and closing of sales.
• To do cold-calling to market wide range of company product & services.
• Provide timely response to product information and RFQ.
• Build and maintain business relationship with customers and vendors.
• Providing and meeting revenue targets.
• Support all marketing activities.
• Responsible to achieve sales target set for area of responsibilities by the Management.
• Planning and report of weekly sales calls and forecast, in line with the targets given.
• Perform customer visits and research to generate leads and expand sales opportunities.
• Any other duties assigned by Superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Offshore Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience esp in technical sales
• Experience in high-pressure systems will be an added advantage
• Preferably with hydraulics background / possesses basic knowledge of hydraulic principles
• Proficient in using AutoCAD and Solidworks is a plus
• Experience in SAP and DocuWare system is an advantage
• Possess analytical & problem-solving skills
• Outgoing personality, innovative and highly motivated.
• Must be willing to undertake sales targets and be proactive in achieving them.
• Willing and able to travel within Malaysia and Vietnam as required
