Job summary

Seagull Marine Offshore (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking an HR Admin to support day-to-day human resource operations in a hybrid setup, with work from office and home.

You will maintain employee records, assist with recruitment, payroll processing and statutory submissions, prepare HR letters, manage work pass documentation, and provide general HR administration support to the team in a multinational marine engineering group.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years HR admin experience; fresh grads welcome.
• Familiarity with Malaysian employment law is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Assist recruitment activities, schedule interviews, onboard new hires.
• Support payroll processing and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Prepare HR letters, memos, and other documents.
• Coordinate work passes and foreign worker documentation.
• Assist with leave, attendance, and claims administration.
• Support HR compliance and audit-related documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
