H.K.L. Metal Works Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking an Admin Cum HR Assistant to support our Johor branch. You will coordinate people processes, handle records, and ensure day-to-day workplace needs are well managed.
This hands-on role involves wage administration for foreign workers, attendance systems, induction and offboarding, and maintaining employee data and office assets.
We are looking for an Admin Cum HR Assistant to support our Johor branch office. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys coordinating people-related processes, keeping records accurate, and making sure day-to-day workplace needs are well managed.
Manage wage administration for foreign workers at the Johor site.
Coordinate overtime records and administration for site management staff.
Handle incoming calls, emails, courier arrangements and document distribution.
Support new-staff induction, employee offboarding process and prepare general HR letters.
Record and manage employee leave applications.
Arrange CIDB training or others relevant trainings for site management staffs.
Maintain monthly foreign-worker name lists and employee records.
Maintain proper records of Company assets such as laptops, keys, equipment and office facilities.
Manage office administration including office supplies, sundries, utilities, and fire extinguishers.
Support office and site systems, including internet/Wi-Fi and thumbprint attendance systems.
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Office Administration, or a related field.
Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in HR and administration.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A practical, service-oriented approach when supporting employees, managers, and site teams.
