Job summary

The GMP Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a driven Key Account / Sales Engineer to support project and technical solution sales in the air conditioning sector. You will engage clients, discuss technical solutions, and build long-term business relationships to grow B2B accounts.

Role requires strong AC/HVAC knowledge, presentation and negotiation skills, and Mandarin language proficiency to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
Experience in business development or technical sales, preferably within the AC/HVAC industry.
Strong technical understanding of AC systems and solutions.
Good presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Experience handling tenders, quotations, and technical specifications.
Experience dealing with consultants, contractors, developers, or interior designers will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Provide technical consultation and solutions related to AC systems and products.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and work closely with internal engineering and project teams.
Manage and grow corporate/B2B accounts to strengthen business relationships.
Develop and expand networks with interior designers and related industries.
Identify new project opportunities and drive B2B business growth.
Prepare tender submissions, quotations, company profiles, and technical documentation.
Monitor and analyze market trends and business opportunities.
