Job summary

Copeland in Malaysia seeks an experienced HVACR engineer to advance product design and support customers across the sales cycle. The role requires deep compressor knowledge, system design skills, and strong English communication. Employment is full-time, with engagement through Pebl as EOR/PEO, and site-based work in Malaysia.

You will lead technical demonstrations, tailor solutions, and stay current with industry trends while collaborating with global teams and regional customers.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering; minimum five years HVAC/R system development experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of compressors (variable & fixed speed) and system design.
• Experience with oil-free compressors and system development.
• Strong written and spoken English; good communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and general IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain proficiency in Copeland products and services.
• Provide technical support during specification and design.
• Support lab tests at third party and Copeland labs.
• Assist in selecting Copeland products per customer requirements.
• Demonstrate products and answer technical sales questions.
• Organize training materials and conduct technical seminars.
• Provide ongoing technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay updated on HVACR industry trends and regulations.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting; visit sites.
• Share knowledge internally and identify upsell opportunities.
• Support customers outside Malaysia and Singapore as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
