The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions to support the organization’s strategic and operational objectives. This role plays a key part in developing HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment legislation, driving talent management, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and offboarding.
Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards and Malaysian employment laws.
Lead the recruitment process by working closely with hiring managers to attract and retain suitable talent.
Support employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
Advise management on HR-related matters, including employee performance, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution.
Oversee payroll coordination, leave administration, attendance records, and other HR operational activities.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant learning initiatives.
Prepare HR reports, workforce analysis, and other management reports as required.
Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and contribute to organizational development initiatives.
Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Sound knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and other relevant labor legislation.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with HRIS or payroll systems will be an added advantage.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with stakeholders across all levels.
