Job description

The Human Resources Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day human resource functions of our Sungai Buloh Plant, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training administration, industrial relation, performance management, and compliance with Malaysian labour laws. This role ensures smooth HR operations while contributing to employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks.

Prepare employment contracts and related hiring documentation.

Conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs.

2. Employee Relations

Support the resolution of employee concerns, industrial relations and disciplinary matters.

Promote employee engagement initiatives and company culture.

Assist in organizing staff events, welfare activities, and internal communications.

3. Performance Management

Support performance appraisal processes and documentation.

Monitor probation reviews and confirmation assessments.

Assist managers in implementing performance improvement plans where required.

Coordinate training programs and employee development initiatives.

Involve in Talent Management and monitoring of Individual Development Plan

Maintain training records and monitor training effectiveness.

5. HR Administration

Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and ensure proper filing.

Prepare HR reports, analytics, and management presentations.

Compliance & Employment Law

Ensure compliance with Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and other relevant labour regulations.

Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Support internal and external audits related to HR documentation and practices.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

Professional HR certification is an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in Recruitment, Industrial Relations, Talent Management, and Employee Relations preferred.

Familiarity with HRIS

Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Good written and oral English communication.

High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Team).
