Sonoco Products (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Leader/Supervisor to supervise production operators, guide and motivate teams to meet daily targets and maintain quality across multiple lines. The role emphasizes strong collaboration with Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse to resolve issues promptly.

• Experience leading production operators in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of quality control and defect prevention.

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while ensuring quality.

Descripción del empleo

Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, guide, and motivate production operators to achieve daily production targets.

Proven experience in managing multiple production lines and machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Sound knowledge of quality control and defect prevention, with the ability to identify production issues and implement effective corrective actions.

Ability to monitor, analyze, and improve key production performance indicators, including output, rejection rates, downtime, efficiency, and productivity.

Good understanding of workplace safety practices, housekeeping standards, 5S methodology, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight production deadlines while maintaining safety and product quality standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments.

Able to work immediately, shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required to support production demands.

Hands-on, disciplined, and proactive approach, with the ability to lead from the shop floor and respond quickly to production challenges.

Previous experience as a Production Leader, Production Supervisor, Line Leader, or in a similar supervisory role is highly preferred.
