Job summary

Sports Direct Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Executive to support performance management programs, maintain accurate employee records, and assist in talent acquisition within a fast‑paced retail environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in HR, 3+ years as HR generalist or TA, proficiency in Microsoft Office, iPayroll and HR2000, and a discreet, team‑oriented mindset. Mandarin speakers are preferred. You will work at Persiaran Lagoon, Sunway City, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' experience as HR generalist or talent acquisition.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, iPayroll and HR2000.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• A team player with proactive attitude and high integrity.
• Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin; Mandarin speakers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of performance management programs and administer confirmation review process.
• Responsible for staff movement including resignation, retirement and termination processing and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database.
• Responsible to ensure all personal files are updated and manage effectively.
• Ensure that all reports are accurate, well-structured and aligned with stakeholder requirements, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• To support and conduct employee engagement activities.
• To assist in talent acquisition process in advertising, sourcing potential candidates through various platforms and arranging interview.
• Assist in handling employees’ disciplinary matters and documentations as and when required.
• Support the payroll processing as necessary.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager as and when required.
