Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR Generalist to support performance management, staff movement, and payroll tasks from its Subang Jaya office. The role involves maintaining accurate employee records, handling confidential information with discretion, and aiding recruitment activities across Mandarin-speaking clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in HR or equivalent, with 3+ years in HR/generalist roles (retail a plus) and proficiency in MS Office, iPayroll, and HR2000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• At least 3 years working experiences as HR generalist or talent acquisition, from retail industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, iPayroll, HR2000.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• A team player, pro-active toward work, positive mindset high integrity.
• Proficiencyin English, Malays and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Must willing to work at Persiaran Lagoon, Sunway City, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of performance management programs and administer confirmation review process
• Responsible for staff movement including resignation, retirement and termination processing and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database
• Responsible to ensure all personal files are updated and manage effectively
• Ensure that all reports are accurate, well-structured and aligned with stakeholder requirements, enabling data-driven decision-making
• To support and conduct employee engagement activities
• To assist in talent acquisition process in advertising, sourcing potential candidates through various platforms and arranging interview
• Assist in handling employees’ disciplinary matters and documentations as and when required
• Support the payroll processing as necessary
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager as and when required
